The Gold Kavach has to be worn in elected auspicious time which is elected according to certain parameters. i.e:
In Indian Vedic astrology there are 12 ascendants & every ascendant has 9 planets which have different functional nature according to different ascendant. The Planet Rahu & Ketu are malefic for all ascendants.
For electing auspicious time the Gemini, Leo , Libra or Aries are the best signs for electing an auspicious time. As Gemini has 2 malefic planets i.e Rahu & Ketu and other three ascendants mentioned have 3 malefic planets out of 9 planets in the nativity.
The rising ascendant must be strong of 5 degrees to 25 degrees, less than 5 degrees is considered as in the state of infancy (weak) and more than 25 degrees considered as in the state of old age (weak).
When the benefic planets in transit are in strength & not in the sign of debilitation, not afflicted by any malefic planets and their placement are not in the bad houses, like which promote dispute, disease, theft, fire, arson, obstruction, denial, accidents, addiction, hospitalization, losses, etc. The current operating main & sub periods and the following periods should be of strong well placed benefic planets.
