‘MCG tardy on less than 1k sq m building plans’
20/05/2013
GURGAON: Opposition members have alleged that the MCG authorities have stopped sanctioning building plans of plots less than 1,000 sq metres despite the House passing a resolution in this matter. They claim that many residents are being put to inconvenience because of this measure adopted by the municipal corporation without attributing any particular reason.

“For the past six months, the MCG officials have stopped sanctioning building plans for individual plots that are less than 1,000 sq metres. While they are issuing building plans to people who are registering a plot for the first time, the same is not the case if multiple owners of a particular plot wish to further divide the plot. This is despite the fact that after we raised an objection in the House meeting. However, this is not being done even now,” said Mangat Ram Bagri, BJP councillor.

“Due to this rule adopted by the municipal corporation without providing any substantial reason, many residents are being put to inconvenience. The authorities should look into the matter at the earliest and resolve this issue so that these residents do not face any more problems,” he said.
